The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
